Free agent WR Michael Thomas makes simple statement about Saints' struggles on social media

The New Orleans Saints have lost six games in a row. The offense was horrific, again, and the defense allowed a handful of explosive plays that led to scores for the Los Angeles Chargers.

On social media, a former star wide receiver for New Orleans tapped in to the embarrassing performance.

Michael Thomas hasn't stopped watching the Saints

On social media, Thomas had a "short and sweet" message that seemed to react to the Saints' offensive issues in Week 8. The former Pro Bowler knows how difficult offensive struggles can be, and they are on full display for the black and gold, especially over the last month of play.

The Saints have scored 13, 27, 10, and 8 points in their last four games - respectively. They have had a consistent offensive output in zero of those matchups.

For New Orleans, they could get their starting quarterback back in Week 9 in Derek Carr. Unfortunately, it is too little, too late for a Dennis Allen-coached team once again for the Saints.

In NFL history, it has been proven to be nearly impossible to see the playoffs after starting the season 2-6.

The worst part? Those six losses in a row have been a conglomerate of bad play and massive mistakes. They are not improving. They are not cleaning up what they can control. Simply put, they're going through the motions and falling short at every chance.

Clearly, Thomas noticed their ineffectiveness on offense on Sunday. Unfortunately, that is nothing new for them on either side of the football.
