The war between Brook Lynn and Lulu has General Hospital fans calling out the bad behavior of both women. Plus, Tracy’s win over Drew felt short-lived after Kai betrayed Trina, and is Holly the one spying on Daisy? Let’s discuss!
Ever since she started researching Rocco’s conception, fans have been wondering what Brook Lynn’s plan is. Thanks to a flashback in which Lulu told Brook Lynn that she doesn’t lie to her children, it seems Brook Lynn assumes Rocco doesn’t know how he came about. The poster ChaLynnfan on Reddit questioned the point of this storyline at all, saying, “I don’t see where this Rocco thing will even hurt that many people, honestly, because Lulu and Dante are still his biological parents. This thing really won’t change his life that much.”

That’s a good point, which brings us back to whether this is about retconning Rocco’s origin storyline and making Britt Rocco’s mother? In Thursday’s recap, poster NolaGirl seems to think that’s what this is about. “I’m sorry, but so far this whole Rocco parentage storyline is a really stupid excuse to bring back Kelly Thiebaud.” MzZee added in, “Yup, and trash BLQ some more.” Although I’m looking forward to Thiebaud’s return, this storyline is bizarre.
One thing viewers agree on is that Brook Lynn was an idiot, leaving a file marked ROCCO FALCONERI in big letters lying around where anyone, including Rocco and Danny, could find it. Unless that was her intent?

Then there is Lulu’s bonding with Gio, which is rubbing viewers the wrong way, particularly this one. It’s cringeworthy that the woman who helped blow up Gio’s life is closer to him now than Brook Lynn, who has been in Gio’s life since he was a little boy. And don’t get me started on Gio’s misplaced anger. If he were a little kid, I could understand it, but not a twenty-something crying, “My mommy didn’t want me!” Though their relationship isn’t there yet, Gio and Emma need a pregnancy scare to open Gio’s eyes!
Other Storyline Ponderings
Hey Sasha, haven’t we learned the importance of having a nanny cam in the nursery over the past few months? While many still suspect a broken Willow is Daisy’s nightly visitor, I suggested in last week’s column that it could be someone as innocent as the baby’s grandmother, Holly. This week, Holly’s name suspiciously came up just as Daisy got another creepy visit! A red herring?

We could barely celebrate Tracy’s victory over Drew because Kai ratted out Curtis’ plan regarding Jacinda to the congressman. I sure hope there aren’t too many fans of Trina and Kai, because the writers just blew them up before they got off the ground as a couple.
How in the heck did Natalia take away that Sonny was moving with her to Belize from their conversation? And Natalia blabbing about Sonny’s dirty money to Brook Lynn, and confiding about skipping the country to Marco, is only going to get her killed.
Finally, Dante apologizing to Jason for being a jerk to him and criticizing his parenting was a nice step in removing the stick he’s had up his butt for a while now.
That’s it for my thoughts this week. As always, leave yours in the comments below!
