General Hospital Preview: Steve Burton and Kelly Thiebaud Tease Jason and Britt’s Sexy Resolution of ‘Unfinished Business’

We simply cannot wait to watch how General Hospital explains Britt’s survival after appearing to have died in her mother’s arms. While last week, Kelly Thiebaud previewed Britt’s resurrection and expressed, “I was really blown away what they came up with,” there’s something else many fans have been looking forward to as well… Seeing the characters’ expressions when Britt and Jason finally come face to face.

During Thiebaud’s appearance on Stone Cold and The Jackal, Steve Burton (Jason) and Bradford Anderson’s (Spinelli) YouTube show, talk came up on whether or not Jason and Britt were a supercouple. Burton brought up how he and Anderson had been talking about how the era of supercouples is kind of non-existent anymore then stated, “You had Luke and Laura, you had [Days of Our Lives’] Patch and Kayla. You had all these supercouples. And I’m not trying to say that’s what we are…” However, Anderson countered, “I think you are,” to which Thiebaud added, “We are!”

While we surely can’t compare Jason and Britt to Luke and Laura, or Patch and Kayla, Burton clarified, “But I’m saying that it felt like there was something there to build off of that’s just kind of unfinished.” Since every supercouple has a beginning, could this be the case for this duo? “It’s going to be a fun story!” he continued.

“There was so much unfinished business for us,” Thiebaud added, “We were just starting to take off and then we weren’t able to. It’s incredible to be here again and get this second chance to really go for it.” The actress also believes that this time around, it’s going to mean more… “It means more, too. I’m not BSing, because it actually means more this time around, not only for me personally but also for the fans, because they’re so excited to get what they never got, and we’re going to be able to give it to them!”
