General Hospital Recap Thursday, July 31: Willow Pleads With Michael & Jason Gets Help From Liz
Today on General Hospital!

General Hospital recaps for Thursday, July 31 reveal Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) has an awkward meeting while Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) is helicopter mom-ming.

Also, Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) pleads with Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) to work out something to see their children.

Dante’s Awkward Meeting

At Anna Devane’s place, (Finola Hughes) Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) looks for her charger while Anna makes a phone call.

The dog comes in, eager to go for a walk- Anna mentions this can’t happen again; they need to set up a schedule for the dog to ensure she’s always looked after. Emma mentions she has a meeting with Professor Henry Dalton (Daniel Goddard) tonight. (Make sure to check out our weekly GH spoilers, here!)

She’s trying to keep on his good side so she can take Josslyn Jacks’ (Eden McCoy) job when she eventually gets fired; and Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) heads for the door.

Dante shows up-it’s an awkward moment; Dante meets the puppy, and Gio expresses his gratitude that Anna is allowing him to stay there- he and Emma then leave.

Dante Continues Talking To Anna

Dante inquires about how serious the situation was, as Anna replies that he and Gio share many similarities- Dante’s been attempting to let Gio set the pace, but there’s been no progress.

He clarifies that Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) discovered Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) involvement in his birth, complicating matters further.

 

They intended to inform him eventually, but he found out on his own and contacted Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati), who was eager to assist. Now, Rocco is viewing his parents with a new sense of uncertainty. She believes he is merely trying to safeguard his sons.

Dante And Anna Discuss The Woman Joss Put A Tracker On, As Anna Worries About Emma

They discuss the woman on whom Josslyn placed a tracker, and Dante tells Anna he has a name, but it’s probably a false identity, and question if Dalton has any involvement.

Anna updates him about Emma’s strange expulsion and her link to Dalton; she presumes that Emma is once again aiming for Dalton.

They ponder over all the possible connections there could be between Dalton and Emma.

Anna fears that Emma might get entangled in something she can’t escape from. There’s a risk she could end up dead; Dante is determined to offer any assistance he can.

Carly’s Helicopter Mom-ming

By the pool, Joss tells Vaughn (Bryce Durfee) that the backup tracker was missing for three hours and then reappeared on the tracking system.

Carly arrives and sees them together. She interrupts and asks to talk to her daughter in her office; Joss gives Vaughn a quick kiss and leaves with her mom.

Once they reach the office, Joss questions why her mom brought her there-Carly’s unsure if Vaughn is a good person; Joss is taken aback that her mom is monitoring her personal life.

Carly mentions that Vaughn is too old for her-Joss brushes that off; her mom trusts her judgment, but after speaking with Anna, she has doubts about Vaughn.

They dislike how Vaughn seems to be putting her and Emma against each other-Joss assures her that there isn’t any strange triangle and that she and Vaughn are not exclusive.

Stella Buttonholes Curtis About Trina And Kai’s Breakup

Stella Henry (Vernée Watson) confronts Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and insists on understanding the reason behind the breakup of Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup).

He struggles to provide an explanation-although Stella has been making an effort to honor Trina’s privacy, she believes the breakup is a significant error. Curtis explains that they have recently realized they have differing views on crucial matters.

She brushes this off and proposes they engage in some matchmaking to mend things-he disagrees, thinking it’s not a wise move. Regardless, she resolves to take matters into her own hands.

Willow Pleads With Michael

At the Quartermaine residence, Willow confides in Michael that she misjudged Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison)-he understands that her feelings for Drew were genuine and Drew had been manipulating her all along.

He clarifies that it was Drew who kept her from meeting him in Germany; he insists he would never have rejected her. He believes that if they had met that day, much of this turmoil could have been avoided, and she pleads with him to discuss their children.

He feels it might be too late, but she implores him to resolve their issues so she can see the kids. “I don’t want the kids to see you,” he replies.

Willow Falls Apart Again, Michael Tells Carly

Willow inquires about how much longer he intends to punish her; Michael responds that he isn’t punishing her at all. His only concern is for his children, and at this moment, she isn’t part of that equation.

He understands that she’s facing significant challenges, but she isn’t approaching the situation with a mother’s mindset right now.

He recognizes that she’s been hurt, yet she must focus on her healing; she vows she will never forget how he rejected her when she came pleading to see her kids.

Michael hurries to his mother’s office and summarizes the encounter with Willow; he is uncertain when she will be well enough to be around the children again.

Drew Shows Up At Elizabeth’s Looking For Willow

At Elizabeth Webber’s (Rebecca Herbst) residence, Drew expresses his desire to assist Willow in reuniting with her children-she tells him that if he truly wants to help, he should step back. She is not in a position to handle him right now, and then Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) arrives on the scene-the two men exchange intense glares.

Jason’s sole purpose for being there is to see Liz- Drew reiterates his only intention is to help Willow and proposes that Jason persuade Michael to allow her to see her kids. Jason hopes that Willow will finally realize that Drew has ruined her life.

Drew Leaves, Jason Needs A Favor From Elizabeth

After Drew leaves, Liz clarifies that Willow will be staying there, to which Jason responds that it’s very kind of her. He requests to check the records regarding the bodies sent from the GH morgue-Liz warns him that she could risk her job by doing that.

He reassures her that this is unrelated to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and that she won’t face any repercussions; she retrieves her laptop and accesses the records, allowing him to look for information.

He discovers that Britt was sent to Lawrence Mortuary; once he finds the information he needed, he expresses his gratitude to Liz. She advises him to be cautious as he departs-Jason heads to the mortuary and finds out that there is no documentation of Britt being cremated.

Gio And Emma Plot As Joss And Vaughn Talk

Gio and Emma reach the pool, and the dog dashes straight to Vaughn-Emma tells Gio to bring the dog back, but he declines.

Vaughn approaches with the dog and apologizes to Emma for the incident with Joss, but she believes they will be great together; Joss comes back and takes Vaughn away. Emma winces and then informs Gio that she took Vaughn’s master key to access the lab.

While Joss is with Vaughn, she shares her mom and Anna’s concerns. He clarifies that Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna) seems to be aware of the situation and is removing them from the case.

Martin And Drew Meet, Then Drew Talks To Curtis

Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) meets Drew, and the congressman informs her that Curtis was the one who revealed his connection to Willow.

Then, Curtis and Stella show up; he is not pleased to see Drew there-she notices his unhappy expression and starts talking about the wedding. Drew approaches Curtis and requests a moment alone with him; after she leaves, Drew shares that he has come to the realization that he has many foes.

He doesn’t anticipate them becoming friends again, but he wishes to propose a truce. He is even considering giving up the blackmail evidence he possesses against Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr); they come to an agreement.

Drew’s Playing The Long Game, Willow Catches Liz Up

Upon Drew’s return to Martin, the lawyer expresses how invaluable Stella has been; she performed wonders in securing him insurance funding when no one else could.

Martin observes how polite Drew appeared with Curtis, and Drew clarifies that he wasn’t declaring a truce; he was strategizing for the long haul.

In the meantime, Curtis informs Stella that he and Drew have reached a truce. Later on, Willow shows up and updates Liz about the situation with Michael. She realizes Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) was correct and understands that she must demonstrate her stability to everyone.
