General Hospital Spoiler: Gio’s Wild Reaction—Snubs Brook Lynn Out & Embraces Dante?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers show that Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) and half of Port Charles, New York, now know who his bio parents are: Brook Lynn Quartermaine-Chase (Amanda Setton) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna).

Color everyone shocked. Everyone except Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer).  We predict that there are three very likely outcomes to play out now that the truth is exposed!

1.) Gio Embraces Dante & Shuts Out BLQ Brook Lynn Out

Will Gio resent BLQ for giving him away at birth? She didn’t know he would grow up next to her in Bensonhurst, that was Lois’ doing.

Dante has been ripping into Gio lately, but we see a bro bond developing now that they know they are father and son. It could be that he blames his mom and sees his dad as another one of her victims. Which of course, is entirely true.

2.) Emma & Gio Get Closer

Gio needs someone to turn to, and Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) is his best hope. She is not involved in any way in this mess, and she was the one he told first. Sort of. She encountered him backstage at the Nurses Ball and could tell that something was very, very, wrong.

3.) Tracy Becomes A Stable Influence

Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) is Gio’s maternal great-grandma and we fully expect her to latch onto him like a barnacle. She is proud of all of her family members, and with someone as talented and charismatic as Gio, she will surely want to show him off.

But she will also want to shelter and protect him, and that is what he needs right now. His world is shattered and Gio needs stability and a place to call home while he sorts through everything.

It’s mighty ironic that the Q mansion was his domicile before he knew the truth, and right now he needs a safe shelter from the storm.

Will Gio Pack Up and Move On?

Explosive spoilers for the Tuesday, May 27 episode reveal that Gio tries to move out of the Quartermaine mansion. And who could blame him, all the people there are shadows of a life he never knew he had.

But we predict that Tracy has other ideas. She is genuinely fond of Gio, someone who she appreciates for standing up to her. Can she convince him to calm down for a hot minute and remain nearby on the sprawling grounds somewhere?
