General Hospital recaps for Monday, July 14 reveal Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) comforts Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) while Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) supports Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
Also, Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) updates Sonny and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) mediates between Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) and Willow Tait (Katelyn McMullen).
Lucy Comforts Sidwell
In the chapel, Lucy is engrossed in the Aurora story, which implies that Sonny was responsible for Natalia Ramirez’s fate (Eva LaRue); Sidwell walks in, and she greets him with a hug.
He seems surprised to see her and expresses his gratitude for her support. She expresses her regret that he has to face the media frenzy today-he is concerned about his son, and Lucy shares how much she appreciated collaborating with Natalia. (Make sure to check out our weekly GH spoilers, here!)
He remarks that she was truly a force of nature. His main concern is that his son may not find peace without some answers.
Alexis Supports Sonny
In his suite at the Metro Court, Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) chooses to ignore the texts from Lucas until Alexis arrives to express her condolences.
She insists that Sonny was not responsible for his mother’s death, saying that the rumors in Aurora were merely insinuations, lacking any real evidence.
He questions her reasoning behind believing that Sonny was uninvolved. She assures him that Sonny would never harm him or his mother, or his sister Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) emphasizing that family is what truly matters to him
After she departs, he once more looks at his phone but again decides not to reply to Lucas’ numerous recent messages.
Michael Updates Carly And Sonny
At Carly’s, Michael tells his parents that he’s about to lose his daughter, saying Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) is leaving town with Daisy Gilmore (Levi Clark Coughlin)-someone is after the baby.
Sonny thinks this is related to him-someone is trying to get his attention- Carly believes this is all insane and thinks Michael should stop Sasha from leaving; he refuses to do that.
After everything Sasha has faced, she deserves a calm life, and he wants to provide that for her-his parents assure him they will support him in any way he needs.
Michael mentions that Jason will be taking Daisy and Sasha out of town. If he loses Wiley and Amelia Corinthos (Viron Weaver, Serenity and Sequoia Mork-Macko), he will have nothing left-he can never allow Willow and Drew to gain custody.
Isaiah Gannon Mediates
Gannon is pleased to see Willow at the hospital, and she shoots a glare at Lucas; when he approaches her calmly, Gannon tells them to resolve their differences.
Lucas says they are on opposing sides of a family issue-they begin arguing about Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), but Willow agrees they should keep their personal conflicts out of the hospital.
Lucas concedes and agrees; after Lucas leaves, Willow confesses that she has made mistakes but was only following her feelings.
He is taken aback when she acknowledges how poorly Michael appears on paper, and she expresses that he has pushed her to this point. She silently recalls her actions with Daisy to teach Michael and Sasha a lesson.
Jack Orders Vaughn And Joss To Make Their Romance Believable
In his office, Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna) leaves a message for Carly; Vaughn (Bryce Durfee) and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) enter, worrying that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) is onto them.
Jack is not surprised-he believes that Vaughn’s spotless record will only raise Anna’s suspicions further. Their boss informs them that to succeed, they must fully embody their cover story and persuade everyone that they are a genuine couple.
The good news is they have cloned Professor Henry Dalton’s (Daniel Goddard) phone and found out he has a physical messenger. If they can uncover the identity of this messenger, they will be in a good position.
Anna Calls For A Background Check On Vaughn While Outback Chews Up Her Shoe
At home, Anna decides to order a background check on Vaughn just as Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) arrives, and Outback he puppy rushes in, chewing on one of her shoes.
Anna yells for Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) to come in right away-Emma and Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) jog in, and Anna expresses her frustration about her ruined shoe.
She loves these vintage shoes when Emma offers to buy her new ones, and they’re irreplaceable-Gio grabs Anna’s last pop tart and dashes out with the puppy and Emma.
Anna reflects on how her life has turned out-she and Felicia share a coffee, and Anna starts to worry that Emma might be in trouble.
She discusses Vaughn, thinking he seems too good to be true. She has already ordered a background check on him, and Felicia believes Anna is projecting her fears.
Danny Talks To Sasha And Catches Up With Rocco, Dalton Shows Up At The Pool
Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzn) checks on Sasha as she relaxes with her baby by the pool, then meets Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) at the towel counter.
He learns about Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) taking the embryo that turned into him-however, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) muddled things by claiming Britt was a good person.
He still seeks clarity-Dalton shows up at the pool and asks for a towel and reminds them they ought to be working, not chatting.
Emma shows up with her puppy and grins as Danny converses with Sasha about the baby and if she can recognize her voice from when she was in the womb. Rocco strolls over to Gio and they discuss how pleasant it is to connect on neutral ground at work.
Dalton Complains When Outback Plops On His Pool Chair
As Dalton emerges from his swim, he discovers the Outback, Emma’s puppy has plopped onto his pool chair. He quickly begins to voice his frustrations, insisting to Gio that Rocco and Danny should be let go.
Emma hurries over to him, apologizing and promising to make things right, ensuring his days are more enjoyable-he consents to her offer.
Once he departs, Rocco, Danny, and Gio reflect on the decision to work with Dalton, believing it to be a poor choice. She clarifies that he is not a good person, using animals for lab research, and that she requires access to his files.
Lulu Admonishes Jason
Jason shows up at Lulu Spencer’s (Alexa Havins Bruening) place, and she regrets being tough on him the previous night but insists he must never discuss Britt with her son again.
She and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) had intended to inform Rocco but never got the opportunity; this situation is resurfacing painful memories; Britt took away a year of Rocco’s life from them.
Jason argues that what he shared with Rocco about Britt doesn’t negate her actions-he believes that Britt had changed.
Lulu, however, refuses to hear anything positive about that woman, and she fears that the harm has already been done and that her son is distancing himself.
He reassures her that she simply needs to have faith in her son’s love for her-she concedes that her frustration towards him was somewhat misdirected.
Alexis’ Questions, Dalton Meets Sidwell, Marco’s Captive, Sonny’s Announcement
After Jason leaves, Alexis arrives and inquires about the Aurora story, noting that it seems strange for Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner). She is curious about who wrote it to safeguard Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) – Lulu is eager to assist.
Meanwhile, a concerned Lucas heads to the Metro Court and requests Carly to allow him into Marco’s room-upon entering, they find it vacant; Marco is being held captive by Jason.
At the same time, Dalton meets Sidwell in the chapel, and Sidwell mentions that their mutual friend is becoming restless and demands answers regarding the delay.
If he doesn’t receive them, there will be consequences-after Dalton leaves, Sidwell looks at Natalia’s coffin and wishes her peace, then Sonny arrives and declares that Marco will not be coming.
