General Hospital just had Willow tell Drew “I don’t!” at the altar — thank heavens! — and already, it appears to be teasing a new romance for her with — what the hell? — Chase!
Why Did Willow and Chase Break Up?
In a way, it would make perfect sense for Willow and Chase to gravitate back toward one another. They were, after all, very much in love at one point. And, in fact, they only broke up because Chase conspired with Michael’s then-girlfriend Sasha to convince their significant others that they were having an affair.
Why would they do something so nonsensical? Because they wanted Michael and Sasha to marry in order to have a better chance of keeping Wiley’s biological mother — conniving Nelle — from winning custody of the boy that she had pawned off as Lucas and Brad’s adopted son.
Do Willow and Chase Still Have Feelings for One Another?
Even after all this time, Chase still has a soft spot for Willow — and even encouraged her to keep the faith regarding her and Michael’s custody fight. He and Carly would eventually remember that Willow is a kind person and a loving mother, Chase reassured her. And remember, he and Willow never fell out of love. As time went on, she just started seeing Michael as more than a friend.
On top of that, Chase and wife Brook Lynn are going through a bit of a rough patch, what with her insistence that she make things right with surprise son Gio before they embark on any kind of an adoption journey of their own. Willow does tend to go from leaning on supportive men to leaning in to kiss them… and if she did so with Chase, oof. It would open a whole messy can of worms for the ex-lovers and his bride Brook Lynn. (Review Willow’s whole story here, from the cult to the marriage of convenience to the Drew of it all.)
