A Golden appearance.
Bachelor Nation fans got to know Gerry Turner on Season 1 of “The Golden Bachelor,” and he’s continued to share his life on social media since.
This week, the former Golden Bachelor appeared on an episode of “The Kardashians” on Hulu.
Gerry was invited over to their home for dinner, and in the episode, longtime Bachelor Nation fan Kendall Jenner shared, “I think this is the most excited I’ve been in a really long time.”
Kris shared that she is also a big fan of the show and the two were so happy to greet Gerry when he arrived at their house.
Gerry took the opportunity to FaceTime in his own daughters and introduce them to Kris and Kendall.
How fun!
During their dinner, Kris and Kendall hit Gerry with the hard questions and asked, “Okay, Gerry, so what happened in your Fantasy Suites?”
Gerry got candid with the ladies, sharing, “I’m very happy about the overnights because if you spend five weeks getting to know women yet everything you say and do is recorded, you’re dying to get to that overnight where you can ask the questions without an audience.”
Kris and Kendall also asked Gerry to share what he learned about himself while filming “The Golden Bachelor.”
He said he learned, “I get emotional so easy. Each Rose Ceremony was difficult. It was awful. I was lost.”
Kendall chimed in, saying, “See, I love how emotionally intelligent you are. I mean, it probably comes with the age as well, but it’s so beautiful.”
Gerry poked back jokingly, saying, “I’m not smart, I’m just old!”
After the three had dinner, they watched an episode of the show with Gerry himself and Kris reflected on why she loves the concept so much.
She said, “It’s very interesting to see that people over the age of 50 actually have a dating life or want to find love again. I think that’s super sweet and relatable to somebody my age. I think it gives women of a certain age a lot of hope.”
We loved this crossover and can’t wait for Joan Vassos to start her journey to find love as the very first Golden Bachelorette next!
