Chad Brannon may have left daytime behind, last appearing on General Hospital in 2021, but that doesn’t mean the actor hasn’t stayed busy with other projects. In fact, not only did he recently get an offer to appear in one feature film but he received a second one — and that makes “two feature films on the same day.”

The former soap star shared the exciting news by posting a photo on his official Instagram dressed as a doctor and began by stating, “The Lord has a sense of humor.” He went on to admit, “I had been wondering if I should do more on-camera work since I had done a couple of fun projects recently. Then, I received a call with an offer to be in two feature films on the same day.”

Talk about “a sense of humor!” As one would imagine, Brannon was “grateful” and “wrap one” of the projects on March 16. “It’s been a blast,” he relayed and explained, “Yes, I have lots of make-up on, kids, I think it’s a secret why…details later.”

While we wait for those “details…” for viewers who don’t recall, the actor appeared in Port Charles as Zander Smith from 2000 to 2004 and won a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Younger Actor in a Drama Series. During that time, he and Elizabeth had a love affair and she became pregnant with Cameron. Though Zander was shot and died in Emily’s arms, the actor returned five years later as a character named Aaron and in 2021, he reappeared as Zander’s ghost in scenes with Cam, who had been dealing with Franco’s death. Prior to his Port Charles roles, he did a short stint on Days of Our Lives in 2000.

We send Brannon a big congrats on his latest roles and we’ll keep an eye out for his new films.
