Gia Giudice Addresses Rumors She Was Fired By Bravo—’The Math Just Isn’t Mathing’

Gia Giudice has officially responded to the online chatter that she’s been fired from Bravo—and she’s setting the record straight in true Jersey style. Despite recent rumors of a cheating scandal and social media speculation, the daughter of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Teresa Giudice made it very clear: she’s still part of Bravo’s newest series, “Next Gen NYC.” She has no plans to leave the spotlight.

Gia Giudice Addresses the Latest Round of Rumors

Gia sets the record straight about those ridiculous Facebook posts about her cheating scandal at her university and being fired from bravo. Anyone who trust Facebook as their main media news I feel sorry for you looooool smdh #RHONJ #NextGenNYC tt source giagiudicexx

The firing rumors began circulating on social media, with some claiming that Giudice had been quietly removed from “Next Gen NYC” following an alleged cheating scandal tied to her college years. But in a live-streamed video—later posted to X (formerly Twitter) by user @Sunny66878—Giudice addressed the speculation directly, all while casually applying makeup.

“Also, I feel like I need to low-key address this, but not really because it’s so dumb,” she said. “But no, I’m not fired from Bravo. And that cheating scandal is just not true. That never happened. I also graduated two years ago, and this story came out like two weeks ago. So you know the math is not just mathing. People are just bored. They don’t have anything better to do, or say, or post.”

With her signature sarcasm, she ended with, “But no, sadly, guys, I’m still on Bravo. Sorry to break your hearts.”

The rumors were just that—rumors. Giudice continues to star on “Next Gen NYC” and actively hosts her podcast, “Casual Chaos,” where she covers everything from Bravo gossip to navigating young adulthood in the public eye. Her ongoing projects and growing media presence show no signs of slowing down.

How the ‘RHONJ’ Star Joined the ‘Next Gen NYC’ Cast

So how did Giudice end up as one of the breakout stars of “Next Gen NYC”? According to the reality star herself, it all came down to a personal invitation from a familiar Bravo face: Brooks Marks.

“Brooks brought me the opportunity,” she told Parade. “My family was already in the public eye, but I just took this as an avenue for me to show myself outside of the Real Housewives.”

The Bravo spinoff follows a group of young adults navigating life in New York City, including the children of well-known Housewives like Ariana Biermann and Riley Burruss. Although the show has a different tone from the franchise’s older series, Giudice insists it’s still very much a reality.

“Everything is real, all of our actions, all of our words. Everything is really real,” she said.

Gia and Brooks also share a real friendship. In Episode 2, they were seen bonding with their famous moms—Teresa Giudice and “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” star Meredith Marks—while discussing the pressures of growing up under a microscope. Giudice’s experience in the spotlight has made her a grounding force for the group, especially when it comes to dealing with online trolls.

“Next Gen NYC” airs Mondays on Bravo, with episodes available to stream the next day on Peacock.
