Gia Giudice Breaks Down in Tears Over Heart-Wrenching Visits to Dad Joe in the Bahamas

Gia Giudice, daughter of The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice, is opening up about the emotional toll of visiting her father, Joe Giudice, in the Bahamas. On the April 3 episode of her podcast, Casual Chaos with Gia Giudice, Gia revealed the "hardest part" of their reunions—and why she always ends up in tears when it’s time to leave.

Despite staying close with her father since his deportation in 2021, Gia shared that visiting Joe is bittersweet. "We go visit him, but it’s not the same as having your father present," Gia confessed. "Arriving in the Bahamas is always so amazing. Leaving is the hardest part."

The eldest Giudice sibling admitted that the tears won’t stop anytime soon. "I don't think the tears will ever end," she said, speaking openly about the emotional challenges of living so far apart from her dad.

Gia also defended Joe’s character, saying, "He wasn’t ever hurting anybody. He was never malicious. There was no malicious intent, and he’s just not a malicious person."

Despite the distance, Joe Giudice has been sharing precious memories on social media, including throwback photos of Gia’s baptism and sweet moments with his daughters, which have only added to the emotional weight of their relationship.

In a recent podcast appearance, Joe also shared how he’s adapting to life in the Bahamas, feeling more "Americanized" in Nassau but still cherishing the visits from his family. "I don’t feel like I’m too far," Joe explained.
