As the ongoing feud between John Fuda and Teresa Giudice continues to simmer, there’s one person who doesn’t appreciate being pulled into the fray.
Gia Giudice lashed out on The Real Housewives of New Jersey on Season 14, Episode 9 after learning John had brought up her name during her aunt Melissa Gorga’s housewarming party as he talked about his own troubles as a teen.
While at the limoncello-themed party, John compared a damaging analogy Jackie Goldschneider made about Gia in 2021 to his own past, where he admittedly got “in trouble for selling a little bit of marijuana” when he was 17 years old.
“I was younger than her daughter Gia is, right? And I know in the past, I guess Jackie has accused Gia or made an allegation … that got spun out of control,” John told the guys at the party in Season 14, Episode 7.
Gia Giudice Responds to John Fuda
John was referring to a conversation between Jackie and Teresa in 2021 in which Jackie — who was upset Teresa was spreading rumors that her husband Evan Goldschneider might be cheating — asked Teresa how she’d feel if a similar unsubstantiated rumor was made about her daughter.
Jackie later apologized and wrote on Twitter that the analogy she used had “no truth to it.”
John saw similarities between the situation and his ongoing feud this season with Teresa, who called him the “largest drug dealer in Bergen County” at a party earlier this season.
“I was younger than that and you’re accusing me of being the largest drug dealer on top of it?” John told the guys.
But Gia didn’t see it the same way and didn’t appreciate her name once again being dragged back into someone else’s scuffle.
“What happened to him is not an analogy, it’s a fact about his past,” Gia told her mom.
Gia brought up the issue again at Danielle Cabral’s Boujie Kids relaunch party in Season 14, Episode 9.
“Did John Fuda try to reference me in some like, wrong way?” she asked Jennifer Fessler. “Apparently I guess he tried to compare like our ages, being like oh, well, around the age that Gia did this, I did this?”
Jennifer insisted that John never accused Gia of anything.
“He was putting into perspective you would get mad that somebody talked about your daughter at that age,” Dolores Catania told Teresa and Gia.
But — even after the explanations from Jennifer and Dolores — the recent college grad was still fuming.
“Don’t use my name in an analogy. Jackie, Fuda, I don’t care who you are. Mention your own kids' name,” she told producers.
