Darren Waller was once one of the best tight ends in the NFL.

Now?

After divorcing WNBA star Kelsey Plum, it seems as if the current member of the New York Giants is continuing to try his hand at music.

Try being the key word here, because while the below video may be well produced, the audio is nothing but auto-tuned drivel.

That's ... pretty bad.

Some of the choice lyrics include but are not limited to:

"I thought our love was real. Who knew that love could kill?"

And ...

"Go ahead and call off. Tired of your day job. We can go on that dirt road like some kids. We can go play."

It's been quite a fall from grace for Waller. From two 1,000-plus yard receiving seasons in 2019 and 2020 to just 552 yards and a touchdown last season for the Giants. He's now considering retirement, but hopefully the music industry isn't his fallback plan.

Throw in a messy divorce in which Plum stated that, "I walked through fire for that man, but now I see it's time to go."

It's safe to say that Waller is in no way on a winning streak.
