Gina Kirschenheiter paid tribute to her “forever sunshine.”
On Wednesday, March 5, The Real Housewives of Orange County mom shared a heartwarming message celebrating her daughter Sienna’s 11th birthday. Gina posted an Instagram Story of her smartphone wallpaper featuring Sienna’s adorable school picture. The OC Housewife said the background was an apt coincidence, as it randomly appeared on her girl’s special day.

“How fitting this is my background pic that popped up for today!” she captioned the snap. “Happy birthday Sienna Rose.”
Gina also shared a montage of her favorite moments with Sienna — whom she shares with her ex-husband, Matt Kirschenheiter. The Reel showed the now 11-year-old at family concert nights, boating trips, and vacations, as well as a shot of her school artwork.

“Happy 11th birthday my Sienna Rose…” Gina wrote in the video. “You are unique, beautiful and unstoppable. You are my forever sunshine and I am thankful for you everyday. Keep blazing the world with your light my love. [What] a privilege to get to watch.”
Gina and Sienna hit the red carpet
Sienna celebrated her birthday fresh off her and Gina’s red-carpet date night. The mother and daughter attended the opening of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, a two-part Tony Award-winning play based on the beloved book series. Gina shared the experience in a February 20 Instagram carousel, which showed her and her daughter posing on the red carpet before taking their seats in the Pantages Theatre.
“Sienna and I have had so much fun together this past week!!!” Gina wrote in the post. “We are HUGE Harry Potter fans. The acting and special effects were incredible! A must see!!! We had the best night!!! BRAVO!!!”
The pair saw the play just days after Sienna’s cheerleading competition in Las Vegas, where she and her team placed second at the National Championship.
Gina shares details on her blended-family life
Gina and her ex, Matt, are also parents to sons Luca and Nicholas. The former couple exchanged “I dos” in May 2010 and finalized their divorce in 2019, the same year Gina began dating Travis Mullen. The East Coast native spoke about her blended family life in a 2024 interview with The Daily Dish, saying she was so grateful that her kids had four parental figures: her, Travis, Matt, and Matt’s wife, Britt.
“We have it all figured out. I couldn’t be happier and more proud of my co-parenting situation,” Gina explained. “We’re just parents. You know what I mean? Like, we’re parents to our children. I’m a parent. Travis is a parent. Matt’s a parent. Britt’s a parent. It’s not even co-parenting, it’s just parenting. Our kids have four parents. We’re their family. They’re safe and happy with any of their four parents and that’s just our life.”
