Gizelle Bryant Says Married to Medicine Has Gone TOO FAR and Claims The Show is Unwatchable!

Gizelle Bryant isn’t holding back when it comes to her thoughts on Married to Medicine’s latest season.

During a recent episode of her Reasonably Shady podcast, the Real Housewives of Potomac star slammed the current season of the Bravo series, calling out its drama-filled storylines and claiming the show has “crossed a line.”

This season of Married to Medicine has been one of the most controversial yet, with fans voicing concerns that the show has veered into darker territory. One of the biggest bombshells came when Real Housewives of Atlanta alum Phaedra Parks abruptly left before filming wrapped.

Drama erupted on Married to Medicine when Dr. Heavenly Kimes invited Apollo Nida to the couples’ trip, despite him previously telling Phaedra Parks that his wife, Sherien Copes, wouldn’t be attending—only for her to show up. Tensions escalated further when Apollo and Sherien confronted Phaedra for bringing Cheick, a man she met at Sweet Tea Lunceford’s speed dating event, leading Phaedra to accuse Sherien of being his mistress while she was pregnant.

Meanwhile, Sweet Tea and Dr. Gregory Lunceford’s marriage faced scrutiny, and Quad Webb’s boyfriend, King, nearly came to blows with Greg after Quad’s drunken antics at a game night.

Ultimately, Phaedra, Cheick, Sweet Tea, and Greg left the trip early, though other cast members painted them as the problem. Toya Bush-Harris didn’t hold back, calling out the group’s toxic behavior and labeling them “mean girls” during a lemon squeeze discussion.

Gizelle made it clear that she isn’t a fan of where the show is headed, explaining to her Reasonably Shady co-host, Robyn Dixon, that Married to Medicine has lost its way.

“So we have all of these exes. All of this mess. And I’m typically here for the mess,” Gizelle admitted. “I love me some *Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta. So I am here for the mess. Not this mess.”

For Gizelle, the Apollo-Phaedra drama felt excessive and forced by producers.

“I was kind of like feeling bad for Phaedra,” she continued. “I felt like from a producer standpoint, this is too much. We crossed a line. This is too much!”

Robyn chimed in, questioning why Apollo was involved in the show at all.

Gizelle didn’t mince words in response. “The whole thing is set up to be messy, and it reeks of that. It reeks of producer produced. It just… I literally said no more.”

With tensions running high both on-screen and among fans, Married to Medicine may have some damage control to do as the season continues.
