There have been some impressive point streaks in NHL history, and the Chicago Blackhawks, being one of the oldest teams, have had some great players come through who could string success together over long stretches.
Patrick Kane has the longest point streak in Blackhawks history with a 26-game streak in 2015-16, the season after the team won their most recent Stanley Cup. There are only five other teams who have had at least one player record a longer point streak - Colorado Avalanche/Quebec Nordiques, Detroit Red Wings, Edmonton Oilers, Montreal Canadiens, and Pittsburgh Penguins.
While you may be able to guess some of the players who hold those records, I'll share those legends regardless. Mats Sundin had a 30-game point streak for the Nordiques in 1992-93, Steve Yzerman had a 28-game point streak for the Red Wings in 1988-89, Wayne Gretzky had a 51-game point streak for the Oilers in 1983-84, Guy Lafleur had a 28-game point streak for the Canadiens in 1976-77, and Lemieux had a 46-game point streak for the Penguins in 1989-90.
There are players from past and present on other teams who have come close to Kane's 26-game point streak, such as Gretzky and Bernie Nicholls (25) for the Los Angeles Kings, Bryan Trottier (25) for the New York Islanders, Brett Hull (25) for the St. Louis Blues, and Mitch Marner (23) for the Toronto Maple Leafs.
It is tough for any player to string together that many productive games as almost every team gets shut out at least once every season. If someone on the Blackhawks could push Kane's record, it will be Connor Bedard. He will definitely need some more help, but I think he could at least get a 18-game point streak at one point in the next 3-6 years.
