This Sabres forward is starting to heat up.
Buffalo Sabres forward Dylan Cozens has had a tough start to the season. In 26 games, the 2019 seventh-overall pick has six goals, 12 points, and a minus-3 rating.
While Cozens' numbers are a bit underwhelming for his standards right now, he is undoubtedly heating up as of late. Over his last four games, the 23-year-old forward has two goals and four points. This is a nice step in the right direction for the Whitehorse native.
Cozens' goal this campaign is to have a successful bounce-back season. After posting career highs with 31 goals, 37 assists, and 68 points in 2022-23, he followed that up with just 18 goals and 47 points in 79 contests last season.
While Cozens's start to the season has not been the best, he is starting to trend in the right direction. Now, we will need to wait and see if he can keep this kind of production up from here. It will undoubtedly benefit the Sabres if he does.
