Britain's Got Talent fans expressed their displeasure after the results of the second semi-final were unveiled on Saturday (May 3)
The beloved talent competition graced television screens again tonight, showcasing eight more acts vying for the coveted spot in the illustrious grand final.
Magician Alexandra Burgio, dancers Cheer re Mans, magician and dancer Jannick Holste, singer John Pierce, dancers Lil M's, guitarist Olly Pearson, singer Stacey Leadbeatter and impressionist Will Burns all took to the stage.
Head judge Simon Cowell had the privilege of using the golden buzzer and chose to send 11-year-old guitarist Olly Pearson directly to the final.
At the end of tonight's live show, hosts Ant and Dec then confirmed singer Stacey Leadbeatter had also made it through to the final after receiving the highest number of public votes, reports Belfast Live.
Stacey Leadbeatter won the public vote on Saturday (May 3) Will Burns finished as runner-up, followed by Cheer re Mans in third place.
"The best experience of my entire life. I'm only 25 and I've already done it. And also, well done Stacey, Leeds had a good day today, so Yorkshire!" exclaimed Will, who was ecstatic about his achievement.
A visibly moved Stacey couldn't contain her joy, saying : "I can't even explain it, thank you so much, thank you. I don't have the words!"
"Thank you so much for believing in me, it means everything to me. This is my dream, thank you!" she added, overwhelmed with emotion.
However, BGT fans were less than satisfied with the evening's outcome, with many flocking to X (previously known as Twitter) to vent their frustrations.
Britain's Got Talent viewers were left feeling frustrated after the semi-final winner was announced "ALWAYS the last act people see! Only act that gets through!! Fix every time," one person wrote, with another adding: "This pile of rubbish needs to be renamed Britain's Got the Fix Factor, because there is NO WAY tonight's voting was accurate. No way."
A third fan said: "Well #bgt result was disappointing. Two I wouldn't have wanted in the final. It's always so predictable," while another similarly shared: "BGT is fixed... another singer in the final."
A fifth viewer echoed the sentiment, saying: "I'm done with this show. Pure s*** finalist lineup so far. This is #BGT NOT X Factor or The Voice."
Olly and Stacey join dance troupe The Blackouts and Scottish singer Vinnie McKee in the upcoming grand final.
