Young goaltender Jakub Dobes is finally back, and it's a return that was anticipated by many fans of the Montreal Canadiens organization. It was obviously a return expected by those from the Laval Rocket, but also by many Canadiens supporters who hope for a recall.
It should be noted that young Dobes had been injured for a while, which probably explains why he wasn't recalled by Kent Hughes, but he is now back.
This is what Renaud Lavoie from TVA Sports recently mentioned.
"Every time Jakub Dobes was close to being recalled by the Canadiens, he got injured."
So, will he finally be recalled immediately after the NHL roster freeze, now that he is healthy?
Several sources believe so!
And when we say Dobes is back, it's not just that he's back from injury.. He's back in great shape and he's back as a dominant goaltender!
In his first game, he stopped 31 of 32 shots in a solid performance.
Jakub Dobes is back, and it smells like the end for Cayden Primeau
Unfortunately, it's possible that the young goaltender played his last game with the Canadiens, or at least, his last game for a while.
Dobes really seems to be the man for the job for the Canadiens.
Jakub Dobes' return: Cayden Primeau should start fearing for his position
And if it were your decision, what would you do in place of Kent Hughes?
Yes, Jakub Dobes is expected by many in Montreal.
