James Van Der Beek Celebrates His Beautiful Family With Touching Message
On June 15, in celebration of Father’s Day, Van Der Beek shared gorgeous family photos of himself and his children on Instagram. The sweet pictures offer a glimpse into the bond he shares with his daughters, Olivia, Annabel, Emilia, and Gwendolyn, and sons Joshua and Jeremiah.
“Being a father has been the most treasured honor of my life,” he wrote in the caption. “Thank you to my kids for re-teaching me how to live, laugh, love, and show up in my own life and in the world. And thank you to my super hero of a wife @vanderkimberly, who constantly exceeds the boundaries of what I thought was human capacity. I love you all with all my heart.”
The actor and “Dancing With the Stars” Season 28 competitor (he was partnered with professional dancer Emma Slater and eliminated in the semifinals) thanked photographer Claiborne Swanson Frank for the photos. He also promoted her new book, “Father and Child.” About the book, Van Der Beek said it “celebrates fatherhood in a beautifully thoughtful, heartfelt and stunningly gorgeous way.”
