Janette Manrara has been flooded with messages as she gave fans a glimpse inside her sweet 'one night away' with her husband Aljaz Skorjanec to mark a personal milestone.
The Strictly Come Dancing stars have had more than a decade-long romance so far, having met at London studios Dance Attic in 2010.
Their relationship blossomed as they starred in the hit live dance show, Burn the Floor, before their romance turned long-distance, with Aljaž based back home in Slovenia and Janette in LA.
But in 2013, they were reunited in London when they bagged sports as professional dancers on Strictly. Two years later and Aljaz popped the question, getting down on one knee at the dance studios where they first met.
Their wedding came two years laterin 2017, with their Strictly co-stars among the guests at the London ceremony, while Janette's former celebrity dance partner Julien Macdonald created her dream dress.
It was on Tuesday (July 15) that Janette took to Instagram to reveal how she and Aljaz celebrated their anniversary. Alongside a video featuring beaming shots of the pair, the presenter and theatre star revealed they'd headed back to the place where they spent their first night as Mr and Mrs.
Alongside the clips, filmed at The Ned in London, Janette shared: "Happy Anniversary. Life has been so busy this year with work, the move, and of course raising our little sunshine Lyra, but we have managed it all so well.
"We’ve been a true team through it all. One night away for just the two of us, to remind ourselves of the beautiful day we got married, was exactly what we needed."
She added: "Staying in the same hotel of our wedding night, having a beautiful dinner over looking the sunset, it could not have been more perfect. Married and best friends through this crazy ride of life. I love you more than you will ever know….."
And the messages came flooding in for the pair. Janette's It Takes Two co-host Fleur East said: "Happy anniversary to you both." Former Coronation Street star Catherine Tyldesley replied: "Happy Anniversary you gorgeous pair."
Dragons' Den star, and Aljaz's former celebrity dance partner, Sara Davies commented: "Awwwwww so glad you guys got some special time just the 2 of you! Enjoy." Previously mentioned fashion designer Julian posted: "All the Lovers. Happy anniversary to my fabulous friends. Now you need to celebrate and KEEP DANCING."
