Jazz Chisholm Jr. hit the showers early after he got ejected from Tuesday’s road game against the Reds in the middle of the ninth inning.
The Yankees’ third baseman was arguing with home plate umpire Mark Wegner over a call from the top of the inning, and it eventually led to Chisholm getting kicked out of the game.
He was apparently angry over a 2-0 call during his at-bat, and argued it in the moment and when he came out of the dugout for the bottom of the frame, he continued to berate Wegner before he was eventually tossed.
