Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Jennifer Aydin is sharing what fans did not get to see in the show’s 14th season.
During a December 2024 episode of RHONJ star Teresa Giudice’s podcast, “Turning the Tables,” Aydin said that she and her castmate, Rachel Fuda, had an argument that was edited out of season 14.
“There were things that me and Rachel argued about — some of the things didn’t even make the final cut,” said Aydin.
Aydin then said Fuda was upset with her because she “didn’t say hi to her husband, John Fuda.”
“They cut that out of the season,” said Aydin on Giudice’s podcast.
She also said many of her RHONJ season 14 confessional interviews were not aired. According to Aydin, several of her confessional comments made producers laugh.
“We do confessionals, I’m telling you, I have audio, putting their hands over their mouths, ’cause they are laughing so much. I don’t know why they didn’t show a lot of that,” said Aydin.
Jennifer Aydin Says RHONJ Has ‘No Impact’ on Her Life
While recording the “Turning the Tables” episode, Aydin referenced that RHONJ has been on hiatus following the show’s 14th season. She suggested she would not mind if her RHONJ contract was not renewed. She stated that she would not be financially impacted if she stopped being a Bravo personality.
“This makes no impact in my life,” said Aydin.
Jennifer Aydin Spoke About Her Text Exchange With Andy Cohen
During an October 2024 interview on Vicki Gunvalson’s podcast “My Friend, My Soulmate, My Podcast,” Aydin noted that she said she was going to star in RHONJ season 15 in an October 2024 Instagram Live. Aydin said she made the remark because she was frustrated by a commenter who told her they would prefer for her to not remain on the series.
On Gunvalson’s podcast, Aydin clarified that she was not told she was coming back to RHONJ. She also said she was embarrassed after Bravo producer Andy Cohen reacted to her comments on his radio show, “Andy Cohen Live.” Page Six reported that Cohen said, “We’ve made no decisions on ‘The Real Housewives [of New Jersey].’”
Aydin said she felt the need to explain herself to Cohen and decided to text him about the situation.
“So I texted Andy. I said ‘First of all Andy, I just really want to clarify.’ I told him the situation. ‘I did not confirm but I did respond, like, sorry to break it to you, I am coming back. Yes, as a snarky comeback,’” said Aydin on Gunvalson’s podcast. “‘And until you guys tell me something otherwise, I am rolling with the vibe that I am still a Housewife. Hence, I’m coming back.’ And he said, ‘I knew it had to be some kind of explanation. Thanks for clarifying.’”
While speaking to Us Weekly in December 2024, Cohen said fans will not know the fate of RHONJ for quite some time.
“You’re not gonna get it for, like, a year, so everyone stop asking,” said Cohen to Us. “And I keep saying you are going to get nothing, so stop asking!”
