JENNIFER PEDRANTI RESPONDS TO BACKLASH OVER DELETED "KUNG FU" VIDEO WITH GRETCHEN!

RHOC Star Jennifer Pedranti Responds to Backlash Over Controversial Video with Gretchen RossiGretchen Rossi returned to The Real Housewives of Orange County for season 19. While her comeback has been welcomed, she and Jennifer Pedranti have been marred in controversy after posting and then deleting an offensive video on social media. Now, she’s responding to the backlash and claiming there’s an agenda to take her down.

Gretchen, 46, initially left RHOC after the show’s eighth season. Fast forward to 2025, and the news broke that she would be returning as a friend of the show. Jennifer, 48, has been on since season 17.

Recently, a fan commented on one of Jennifer’s posts, asking, “Are you going to address the problematic Kung Fu video you and Gretchen posted and then deleted?” This then led the RHOC star to reply, “Of course.”

Jennifer’s reply continued, “It was offensive to two of my cast and possibly others. I was asked to take it down, and I did immediately. Never an ill intent at all. Truly, we were being goofy and having fun. The second I heard it could come off as offensive, it was off my socials.”

This wasn’t Jennifer’s only response to the backlash. Gossip Guy 12 posted another interaction on Reddit. In this one, a fan is defending Jenn. They wrote, “I’m going to defend Jen on this one, she didn’t make the sounds or squint her eyes. Gretchen should know better.”

This led Jennifer to respond, “Thank you. This has been ridiculous. The second I got the call that it could be taken in a hurtful way, I removed it from ALL SOCIALS.”

Jennifer then wrote, “There is an agenda here.. It’s really sad. I would never intend to racially insult anyone.” Regarding the deleted video, Bravo and Blaze posted it with a text overlay that read, “WTF is this?!” They also wrote “Stop Asian hate” over the video.

They captioned it, “Hi. I’m out of my funk and back in fight mode. I didn’t have it in me to address this last week when it was originally posted and then quickly taken down.”

The caption continued, “This type of racially charged behavior is absolutely unacceptable, and I’m tired of it. I don’t like to say people should be fired, so that’s not what this is. But if you trace the thread of all the recent chaos and problematic behavior on Bravo, the common denominator is Alex Baskin.”

The person then wrote, “I’m half Asian, 100% proud, and yes, my math skills are amazing. (<= common denominator joke)”
