Jordan Greenway Trade Officially Complete

   

The Minnesota Wild traded Jordan Greenway to the Buffalo Sabres at the 2023 NHL Trade Deadline. They received a 2023 second-round pick and a 2024 fifth-round pick.

Minnesota used the second-round pick to draft Riley Heidt at pick 64 and used the 2024 fifth-round pick to draft Sebastian Soini with pick 140. 

Heidt, 19, has spent four years in the WHL with the Prince George Cougars. He has recorded 85 goals, 195 assists, and 280 points in 221 career games. He will come to development camp again as well as training camp with a shot at making the team. 

Soini, 18, is a 6-foot-2 defenseman who was playing with Ilves Jr. of Finland-Jr last year. Soini was ranked 17th among International skaters by the NHL Central Scouting.
