Josh Allen Reacts to Hailee Steinfeld's Message Before Super Bowl LIX

Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills fell short of reaching Super Bowl LIX after their path to New Orleans was blocked by the Kansas City Chiefs, who defeated them in the AFC Championship Game.

That being said, Allen made his way to New Orleans this week for last Thursday’s NFL Honors at Saenger Theater. He did not go there alone, as he was accompanied by his girlfriend and “Pitch Perfect” actress Hailee Steinfeld.

The night got even more memorable for the two when Allen won the 2024 NFL Most Valuable Player award, becoming just the third Bills player in history to bag the honor – and the first Buffalo quarterback to win it. Running backs OJ Simpson and Thurman Thomas won MVP in 1973 and 1991, respectively.

On Saturday, Steinfeld shared a heartfelt message via Instagram about Allen’s huge personal achievement.

“That’s MVP Josh Allen to you! ” read Steinfeld's post, which has garnered over 400,000 likes at the time of this writing.

Allen responded to it with a short but meaningful reply: “I love you ❤️‍”

The 28-year-old Allen barely edged out Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson for the MVP award. Allen received 383 points coming mostly from 27 first-place votes while Jackson had 362 points and 23 first-place votes. Finishing third in the MVP voting was Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley (120 points), while Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow and Detroit Lions signal-caller Jared Goff had 82 and 47 points, respectively, to round out the top five.

Allen passed for 3,731 yards and 28 touchdowns against six interceptions while leading the Bills to a 13-4 record in the 2024 NFL regular season. He guided Buffalo to wins over the Denver Broncos and the Ravens in the playoffs before falling prey to Kansas City.
