K'Andre Miller will miss at least the next couple of games as he lands on injured reserve.
K’Andre Miller has officially been placed on injured reserve with an upper-body injury.
Miller sustained this apparent injury during the New York Rangers’ 3-2 win over the Buffalo Sabres on Wednesday night.
The 24-year-old defenseman played the first 40 minutes of the contest before ultimately not coming out for the third period.
The Rangers announced that Miller will not join the team to start their three game road trip this upcoming week.
Through 28 games, Miller has recorded two goals, four assists and six points while averaging 21:21 minutes.
Peter Laviolette confirmed that Connor Mackey will take Miller’s place in the lineup on Saturday afternoon against the Los Angeles Kings.
