Kenya Moore admitted she crossed the line with Real Housewives of Atlanta newbie, Brit Eady … but made an excuse for why she did it. In an interview on the Tamron Hall Show, Kenya took accountability for sharing “distasteful” photos while filming.
For context, Kenya didn’t finish filming season 16 as she violated production’s code of conduct. She displayed photos of Brit seemingly performing oral sex during a Kenya Moore Hair Care Event.
Kenya’s statement:
“Hindsight is always 50/50.” (No, that’s not a typo, lol.) “If I could do it all over again…”
“I believe the photos were very distasteful.” The former Miss USA continued, “I elevated the situation. I’ve elevated situations before [and] I’ve taken full accountability for the things that I’ve done.”
Kenya confessed, “I am sorry for what I’ve done. I didn’t have to take it that far. I felt threatened.”
The mom card:
While promoting her children’s book, Kenya claimed she blew things out of proportion to “protect” Brooklyn.
Tearfully, she lamented, “I’ve never had a child and be in this situation before. So, that’s why I escalated it. I was protecting not only myself but my child.”
Kenya’s coin:
Mentioning this was a choice for Kenya …
She boasted, “I am still under contract” with Bravo TV. And,” she continued, “I’m still an employee of the network.”
Kenya even stated she “still” receives checks from Bravo.
“Period.”
Kenya’s story, before today:
The RHOA star vehemently denies displaying a pornographic image of Brittany Eady at her salon event. Kenya took to social media to refute the claims against her. “I would never engage in revenge porn.”
“I have never distributed private images or footage of anyone, nor solicited images owned by others to use to threaten or blackmail.” Brooklyn’s mom continued, “I have always been vindicated.”
According to Page Six, “We’re told Bravo cameras were rolling at the cast event, where Moore decided to unveil the explicit images. The recipient of the alleged sexual act remains unclear.”
