Kim Zolciak is speaking out on the recent reports surrounding her marital split.
On Friday, February 21, the Don’t Be Tardy mom took to Instagram to address an E! News headline that read, “Kroy Biermann Files for Divorce From Kim Zolciak for 3rd Time.” Kim responded to the article in the outlet’s comment section, simply writing: “Not true!!” along with crying laughing emojis.
Kroy reportedly files to divorce Kim for a third time
According to the report, Kroy recently filed for divorce from Kim for the third time since his initial filing in April 2023. Several months after that submission, Kim and Kroy jointly dismissed their cases and agreed to give their union another shot; however, the reconciliation was short-lived as Kroy, once again, filed to dissolve the marriage in August of 2023.
The previous divorce filings were submitted in Fulton County, Georgia, where Kim and Kroy owned a family home. The parties reportedly dismissed their second filings after the property sold for $2.75 million. Per legal documents obtained by WSB-TV, Kroy’s latest petition was filed in Cobb County, Georgia, where Kim now resides.
How did Kim and Kroy meet?

The former couple were introduced in 2010 while Kim was filming The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 3. Episode 7 followed Kim to a dance-themed charity event where she first laid eyes on Kroy. Needless to say, she was immediately smitten with the then-NFL linebacker.
“It’ll be seven years this May [since I met him], which is insane to me that it’s been seven years,” Kim told The Daily Dish in May 2017. “It’s pretty awesome that it was all caught on camera too.”
Kim and Kroy's daughter Ariana reflects on their split

Kim and Kroy tied the knot in late 2011 and went on to welcome four children together: Kaia Biermann, Kroy “KJ” Biermann, Kash Biermann, and Kane Biermann. Kroy also adopted Kim’s older daughters — Brielle Biermann and Ariana Biermann — in 2013. The latter daughter reflected on her parents’ split in a December 2024 TikTok video, admitting divorce was much more difficult than she anticipated.
“You know when you’re younger, like 10, and you think about divorce… You’re like, ‘Oh my God, two Christmases, two vacations, two birthday gifts, fun time, extra food on Thanksgiving… What a fun time,” she said. “And then you grow up, and then you’re an adult, and then it actually happens. And then you’re like, ‘Oh sh-t. Divorce f-cking sucks. Oh my God. This is actually the worst thing that’s ever happened, for everyone involved.’”
