Kristen Doute Reveals Tom Schwartz Has ‘Grown Apart’ from Tom Sandoval – A Shocking Rift in the Bromance!

Vanderpump Rules alums Tom Sandoval and Tom Schwartz seemed to have an unbreakable bond. Of course, Sandoval tested this by telling his bestie about his affair with Rachel Leviss. Then, Schwartz lied to the world about knowing and then lied about when he knew. Plus, Scandoval took a toll on the duo’s fledgling new bar, Schwartz & Sandy’s, which closed in December 2024. Somehow, these two are still friends. However, according to The Valley star Kristen Doute, their friendship has shifted.

Kristen Doute says there is “a lot of love” between Tom Sandoval and Tom Schwartz

Breaking the Rules shared a clip on their Instagram from the Bravo Hot Mic podcast, hosted by Alex Baskin. During the clip, Alex asked about Sandoval and Schwartz. “What would your advice be for Tom Sandoval now? How does he move forward in life?” Alex asked.

“I don’t think that there is anything I can say that is going to push Tom in any direction one way or the other. Hope he gets through this sort of, it feels like this … I don’t wanna say midlife crisis, but kind of,” Kristen said of her ex-boyfriend. “Like it’s kind of what he’s in right now.”

As for Schwartz? There were rumors that he felt “abandoned” by Sandoval leaving to film The Traitors Season 3 and touring with his band, instead of helping at their bar. “I talk to Schwartz pretty often. Like we’re both very close to Schwartz,” Kristen said of her and her fiancé, Luke Broderick. “And even Schwartz and Sandoval have sort of evolved away from each other. I know there’s a lot of love there. I think it’s one of those … it’s like a me and Katie [Maloney] thing,” she explained. “It’s like it will always be.”

The mom-to-be continued, “But I don’t think that they’re gonna be as close as they used to be and I think Sandoval’s got it like kind of just go through what he’s going through and then hopefully come out the other side of it.”

As for Kristen and Luke, they are delighted to share that they are having a baby girl. And, they will see more familiar faces, as some of the Pump Rules cast will be appearing on Season 2 of The Valley. Schwartz will be appearing, along with Lala Kent and Scheana Shay.
