Kyle Richards Shows Support for Teddi Mellencamp During Girls’ Night Tattoo Party

Kyle Richards hosted a girls’ night in for friends at her Encino, California mansion, and she showed her special bond with her close friend, Teddi Mellencamp.

On April 9, “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills”  star shared photos from a pajama party to celebrate the birthday of her longtime friend Jenn Leipart. Leipart is Richards’ assistant and an accountability coach for Mellencamp’s company, All In by Teddi,  per her Instagram bio.

While the get-together was for Leipart’s birthday, Richards and the birthday girl showed support for Mellencamp amid her medical crisis by getting matching tattoos with her.

Kyle Richards Posed Photos from the Special Night

In photos posted to her Instagram page, Richards gave fans a look at the party night. In addition to Leipart and Mellencamp, guests included Erika Jayne and Faye Resnick. Richards also invited tattoo artist Wesley Austin to join the group.

In one photo, Mellencamp was pictured getting a tattoo. A second photo showed Richards, Leipart, and Mellencamp all displaying matching “lit match” tattoos. Richards captioned the photo to explain that her friends are a perfect “match.”

“Cozy night in wearing our pajamas 🥰 ,” Richards wrote of the photos. “Perfect way to celebrate @jennleipart who’s an amazing friend to all 🎂 🩷 And of course we had to include the talented @wyldwess to our girls only night 🤷🏻‍♀️ We love our new tattoos! A perfect match! Yolo 😜.”

This is not the first time Richards and Mellencamp got tattoos together. In 2023, Richards told Page Six that she and Mellencamp had matching body art.

Richards has been by Mellencamp’s side ever since she was first diagnosed with brain tumors earlier this year. In an interview with Extra, she talked about Mellencamp’s difficult cancer treatments and how strong she has been.

“She has some rough days right now going through radiation and the immunotherapy, but, you know, you know Teddi. She is a really strong girl, and I do believe she’s going to come out the other side of this, so lots of prayers and positive vibes for her,” Richards told the outlet.

She also said Mellencamp is trying to keep a positive attitude.

Mellencamp has admitted that she has to remind herself that it’s okay to have some down days. In an Instagram post on April 9,  she wrote, “Sometimes I am so focused on ‘being strong’ that I forget I am allowed to be sad, cry it out, and feel very alone. I love my kids, friends, and family so much and am forever grateful to them but dang, today is one of those days.”
