Liam saved Steffy's life, even if it costed his own.
Liam did what needed to be done. He defended Steffy from Luna’s murderous wrath on The Bold and the Beautiful. He did it as he took a gunshot to the chest. That didn’t stop him from making sure that Steffy was safe.
Taking a Bullet
At the end of the Tuesday, July 8 episode of B&B, Liam (Scott Clifton) took a bullet for Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). Her safety was his priority. Liam saved her from Luna (Lisa Yamada), who was wielding a gun. He tried to wrestle it out of her hand, but it didn’t work at first.
Luna shot Liam in the chest. He fell back on the floor as blood poured from his chest. But he wasn’t going to give up that easily. Liam fought to get back on his feet so he could finish the job. Luna heckled him as he struggled to hold the gun. In a shocking twist, he managed to shoot her in the side.

Major Props
B&B fans are giving Liam major props for his heroic efforts. One fan brought this up on a soap opera message board. One poster wondered if shooting Luna to save Steffy’s life would redeem Liam in the eyes of the viewers. Some fans were impressed with the way he handled the situation.
“He definitely earned some respect from me today. He handled business and did what needed to be done. He defended Steffy and still found the courage and strength somehow to get up and take control of the situation,” one fan wrote.

“Liam was definitely the hero today,” another fan agreed. Yet, some fans think Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) could get credit for saving Steffy’s life. She tried to talk Luna out of shooting Steffy. “Sheila definitely stepped in when Luna had the gun pointed at Steffy and might have shot her,” another user noted.
