Lisa Barlow’s Best Fashion Moments on RHOSLC

The Sundance Queen has been making quite a statement in recent seasons regarding her fashion. Lisa Barlow has always been the modern-day Morticia Addams, as she incorporates black so well into her wardrobe. However, the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star also has a flair for the dramatic, as seen in her metallic color introduction. Personally, I’d love to raid Lisa’s closet or head to Nordstrom with her. While there have been some fashion flops, most of Lisa’s style has been right on point.

Lisa Barlow, the siren

I absolutely lived for Lisa’s dark mermaid confessional look. Not only was her spray tan on point, but she also looked ravishing, with her hair pulled back in a French twist. There is no doubt in my mind that Lisa is back and embracing her villain narrative. It was a look that Ursula herself would have been proud of. The Vida Tequila owner made a bold entrance with her black bustier and gold coral chunky necklace. The style was edgy and forced fans to stop and take note. The Maison Schiaparelli couture corset is a ready-to-wear piece. The bustier and its shell-like detail are lined with bone to make the perfect waist. The designer’s corsets go for thousands, so Lisa paid a pretty penny for this look. But it was well worth it, in my opinion.

Lisa looked nothing less than angelic while hosting her Besos Valentine’s Day party. While wearing her hair down and sleek, she donned a white blazer for the occasion. The look matched her bossy personality as she dished out orders to the staff and fought with a few friends. No matter how heated she became, Lisa looked cool as a CEO arguing about a merger. Along with her famed rings, the Versace blazer would have had Medusa herself stop in her tracks to admire the quality of such style. Also, Medusa is Versace’s muse for those who don’t know. The $1,316 jacket hit Lisa in all the right places, and I hope she wears it again soon!

Naturally, all Real Housewives of Salt Lake City stars know what is hot and what is not. And Lisa looked drop-dead gorgeous in the red plaid skirt she wore to the Watch What Happens clubhouse. The mini skirt was paired with a black top and stirrup leggings, though I could have done without the leggings. But the look was a holiday statement, and I found myself wanting a gingerbread latte from Starbucks. Again, Lisa picked a Versace piece to elevate her red carpet look. I just loved how Lisa embraced the button-embellished frayed checked tweed skirt, even giving the cameras multiple angles. But for $1,695, she had better use it for her next performance of Away in the Manger.

Lisa is the gift that keeps on giving with her fashion. She not only had one amazing confessional look but two! She chose a sleek black slip dress in her second outfit, making her look like a dark angel. In a good way! Lisa is setting the tone for the season with this dress and taking no prisoners. She might even be giving Bronwyn Newport a run for her money. I sense a theme here as we see Lisa wearing Versace again. The lace trip at the bottom of the slip adds to the number’s elegance. Equally romantic and dramatic, the mini dress is distinguished, just like Lisa, leaving no room for interpretation as she shows she can compete with anyone.

Once again, I was given mermaid meets the Tin-Man vibes, and honey, it worked. When Bravo dropped the look, I couldn’t hide my joy as the queen looked stunning. Firstly, she had a way better spray tan than ever before, which helped a lot. The silver metallic cutout ring dress was giving as it showed Lisa’d sensual side. Pairing it with platform sandals quickly gave Lisa a casual and confident look. To add to the ice queen’s aesthetic, she added a few silver bagels for good measure. Let me tell you, if I were back looking at dresses for my high school winter formal, this would be the winner. Lisa stuck to her roots as she once again embraced the metallic hues, and like before, it didn’t steer her wrong.
