Lіsа Vаnderрumр Stаn? Her New Collаborаtіon Wіtһ IPSY Reveаls Some of Her Best Beаuty Seсrets

Unlike the rest of her reality television peers, Lisa Vanderpump is one of the few who does not rely on a glam team. This came as a surprise since she looks nothing short of fabulous whenever she shows up on our TV screens, whether it’s on the hit Bravo series Vanderpump Rules or her new Hulu show, Vanderpump Villa. So when she opened up to Us about some of her beauty secrets, we were all ears.

Lisa Vanderpump IPSY Icon Box collaboration

Normally, Vanderpump curates beautiful floral arrangements, decor, or tablescapes at one of her world-famous restaurants. But this month, she switched gears, pulling together some of her favorite beauty products in collaboration with IPSY. Speaking exclusively with Us, the reality star shared what it was like working with the company on the November Icon Box.

“It was also so much fun because it was very playful,” Vanderpump said. “It was just a moment to be kind of ridiculously indulgent and I loved every second of it.”

The Icon Box at IPSY comes as an add-on for one of its beauty subscriptions, which you can sign up for online. While there are various subscriptions on IPSY, like their classic IPSY Glam Bag, their Icon Box taps your favorite celebrities for their favorite beauty picks and comes once a quarter. Each iteration includes 8 full-sized products worth $350 but costs just $60 (such a steal)! Vanderpump is the latest on a long list of celebrity collabs, which also includes John Legend and Chrissy Teigen — and clearly, the businesswoman is a fan herself.

“It’s such a great gift,” Vanderpump told Us. “I thought, ‘If somebody gave me this IPSY box and they have different tiers of boxes and it arrived like products kind of at your home, it’s a gift that keeps on giving.’ I love it so much! For me, it was a great business model as well. It really [is] very clever.”

Though the box is supposed to be an exciting surprise at your doorstep, Vanderpump let Us in on the “beautiful mix” of products she included in her curation. She made sure to incorporate the Amika Hydro Rush Intense Moisture Leave-In Conditioner, a shopper-favorite hair product, since “they support the Vanderpump Dog Foundation.”

“I’m always very impressed when people have businesses that actually give back,” she said.

Vanderpump also included things like the Fenty Skin Cherry Dub Triple Action AHA Body Scrub, which she noted is “really good,” and something from Kevin Aucoin’s line because she thinks “he is just a genius.” You’ll also find the Tarte Tartelette Juicy Amazonian Clay Eyeshadow Palette, which the 64-year-old likes because “you get to play with that.”

“I quite like the creativity with a little palette, rather than just sticking to one eye shadow,” she said.

Though Vanderpump lives a busy and on-the-go life, one of the things she won’t leave the house without is “a great statement lipstick.” She believes the “mouth is really important” and thinks it’s “really lovely to play” with all of the different colors. (She is a creative, after all!) A great lipstick followed up by some “under eye cover” and a “little eyebrow pencil” are her go-to’s.

As for her beauty philosophy, Vanderpump thinks everyone should look at makeup as “something that’s not a chore but something to indulge in.” She said with all of the “negativity in life as of late,” even just a little bit can “make you feel so much better.”

“I think to try and kind of make you feel your best and embrace being a woman and embrace the glamour of it and the beauty of life is a moment that we all need to take for ourselves,” Vanderpump said. “I think people need that nowadays. They need a little gift coming their way.”
