In a new interview, Amber 'AD' Desiree Smith suggests that she isn't surprised to find out that Margarita Gravesande is against her son's new relationship with the model.

"Love Is Blind" star Amber "AD" Desiree Smith has broken her silence after Clay Gravesande's mom called him out for dating Celina Powell. In an interview, AD suggested that she wasn't surprised by Margarita's remark.

"I'm glad that his mom stepped in," AD told E! News in an Interview at Netflix's FYSEE Reali-Tea Event. "I think it's on her, and that's their family."

The 33-year-old added, "I think as far as me and Clay's relationship, it kind of ended where it ended. Everything that he does are decisions on his side, and we've completely separated and went our own ways."

Fans, meanwhile, were not happy about how AD responded to the question. "please lets stop talking about him. Thats what he wants. I wish AD would have replied 'no comment,' " one said. "She better than me! I would have said 'Who?' " another added.

Someone else wrote, "Girl... Why are you giving this energy... He doesn't even like you. Why do I have a feeling that she's desperate enough to reach out to him. Smh."

Clay made his relationship with Celina public on social media last week. The reality show star posted on Instagram and TikTok a series of bedroom videos. In response to her son's relationship with the OnlyFans model, Margarita didn't hesitate to show her disapproval.

"I didn't know who CP was until everyone started sending me her YouTube information," Margarita, who was also featured on the Netflix series, wrote on May 15. "It's very interesting that some men will lose everything thinking that the apple is good, but it's a forbidden choice (do better). The deceiver uses old tricks to attack and destroy."

Speaking directly to her son, she added, "You know Jesus will allow things to occur. He's still trying to get your attention….please surrender to him." Clay reposted his mom's post on Instagram Stories. "Heard you mom," he wrote with a heart emoji, "My apologies."
