Love Island is due to make a welcome return to our TV screens on Monday, 3 June. A new set of singletons will be entering the iconic villa in search of long-lasting love.
The hit ITV2 dating show is back in Majorca, with Maya Jama returning as host. The villa has undergone a colourful makeover too, making it the ultimate spot to experience a summer of love.
Some Islanders have been lucky enough to find their perfect match in the Love Island villa, but many haven't been so lucky, leaving alone. Here, we take a look at where the couples from the 2023 series are now...
Sammy & Jess
Sammy Root and Jess Harding were crowned the winners of Love Island 2023, much to many fans' surprise. The pair's on-off romance in the villa clearly captured viewers' hearts, with many rooting for Jess, 24, from the very start.
Jess and Sammy, 23, split the £50,000 prize fund and returned to reality together, spending their first few whirlwind weeks outside of the villa taking part in glam photoshoots and attending red carpet events. However, it wasn't meant to be, and just two months after their win they ended their relationship.
“Jess and Sammy have called it quits. Things have changed since leaving the villa and Jess has realised they’re better off as friends," a source told MailOnline at the time.
Whitney & Lochan
Runners-up Whitney Adebayo and Lochan Nowacki's romance is still going strong, nearly one year after they left the Love Island villa in second place. The couple met during the Casa Amor twist on the dating show and instantly fell for one another.
Whitney and Lochan document their relationship on social media with fans, giving glimpses into their romantic date nights and the time they spend with each other's families.
Tyrique & Ella
Tyrique and Ella coupled up at the start of Love Island 2023 and had a rocky time in the villa, but remained determined to make things work. They worked through Ella bringing home a new boy from Casa Amor, and eventually made it to the final together.
Ella and Tyrique's relationship lasted seven months outside the villa. In November it was reported they'd briefly ended things, but soon opted to give their romance one more chance. However, they split for good in February.
A source told MailOnline: “Ella and Tyrique have decided it’s time to go their separate ways. They have such love for each other, but they often struggle to get along and as viewers saw in the villa, they’re always arguing.
“This time, things have ended badly… and they have both removed all recent photographs of each other from their respective Instagram profiles, as well as all Snapchat content. They have unfollowed each other as well… it certainly feels like this breakup is final.”
Molly & Zachariah
Molly Marsh and Zachariah Noble had a turbulent time in the Love Island villa, but eventually wound up in fourth place. The pair stayed together for seven months after the show, before reports began circulating claiming they'd ended things.
It wasn't long until Molly and Zach were reported to have rekindled their romance and they're now back together. The couple appear to currently be enjoying travelling together, having recently jetted off to Australia.
Ella B & Mitch
Following a very 'messy' time in the Love Island villa, it came as no surprise that Mitch's relationship with Ella Barnes didn't work out. The pair called it quits just one month after leaving the show, with Ella announcing the split on Instagram.
“Hi guys, just wanted to come on here and keep you all updated. You deserve to know as I wouldn’t be where I am without you. Unfortunately, myself and Mitch have decided to end our relationship. I really wanted things to work out and I’m gutted that our journey has come to an end. I wish Mitch all the best and hope he finds his happiness. It’s time for both of us to start a new chapter," she said.
Mitch was then rumoured to have reunited with ex Abi Moores, with the pair attending red carpet events together. However, he then took part in Love Island: All Stars in January, but failed to find a connection.
