BBC Strictly Come Dancing has reportedly signed up its first star for the 2025 series, with the rumoured addition coming just hours after she married a Premier League footballer

Dani Dyer, the daughter of EastEnders star Danny Dyer, has reportedly agreed to join the lineup for the 2025 series of Strictly Come Dancing. The rumours came after she exchanged vows with West Ham footballer Jarrod Bowen in a luxurious wedding ceremony.
Dani, who rose to fame after winning Love Island in 2018 with her then-boyfriend Jack Fincham, has been dating Jarrod since 2021. The couple welcomed twin daughters on May 22, 2023.
According to a source quoted by The Sun, Strictly Come Dancing producers are thrilled to have Dani on board. The insider stated: "Bosses are thrilled she's agreed to take part and are ironing out her fee."

The source further explained that Dani's personality makes her an ideal contestant for the show, adding: "She's bubbly, down-to-earth and straight-talking and producers reckon she'll make an ideal contestant - not to mention the bonus of having Jarrod and dad Danny in the audience supporting her."
When approached for comment, a representative for Dani, 28, did not respond, while a BBC spokesperson declined to comment on speculation, reports the Express.

Dani and Jarrod's wedding ceremony, which took place on Friday, was a 'Bridgerton-themed' affair, with Dani stunning in a £10,000 off-the-shoulder designer gown.
The ceremony was set against the idyllic backdrop of the Buckinghamshire countryside, with father Danny Dyer accompanying his daughter down the aisle, vowing to deliver a speech without swearing.
A source told The Sun: "Danny and Jo were very emotional about Dani getting married. She was their first born and she was there through all the highs and lows.
"They couldn't be more proud, and they love Jarrod like a son. Danny walked her down the aisle. Jo joked that they should both do it, but they're keeping it traditional."
Love Island starts on ITV2 on Monday, June 9
