Will the Bridge rebuild before Taylor gets to reclaim the title of Mrs. Forrester?
Right now, Ridge and Taylor are basking in a rare moment of romantic peace. Their hearts are in sync, their smiles are genuine, and their mutual love is practically glowing through the screen. But come on—this is Bold and the Beautiful. Stability is just a commercial break away from disaster.
From Soulmates to Soap Shrapnel?
Taylor (Rebecca Budig) is glowing with hope, Ridge is saying all the right things, and if the camera lingers a second longer on that romantic dinner setup, we might just hear wedding bells. But before anyone starts throwing rose petals or planning the guest list, let’s not forget the Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) factor. If Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) is “all in” with Taylor, why does he still get that faraway look whenever Brooke walks by in slow motion?
A Ring, A Romance, and A Red Flag
Let’s say Ridge proposes. (Because duh, he totally will.) Taylor will beam, Steffy and Thomas will high-five, and even Eric might crack a smile. But what are the odds Ridge gets “distracted” before the big day? We’ve all seen this man fall into Brooke’s orbit faster than you can say “destiny.” One drunken heart-to-heart, one misty memory-laden kiss, and boom – Ridge is shirtless at Brooke’s place trying to explain it was “a moment.”
Picture it: the night before the wedding, Ridge shows up at Brooke’s house “just to talk,” one thing leads to another, and…cue the next morning’s walk of shame. Taylor, trusting and unsuspecting, might be moments away from walking down the aisle when she gets a mysterious text – possibly from Hope, who “accidentally” walked in on the entire Brooke-and-Ridge rerun.
From Passion to Rage
And if Taylor finds out Ridge betrayed her again? This isn’t the old Taylor who curled into herself and cried. This Taylor will dropkick Ridge’s tux into the Forrester fireplace and walk out with her head held high—and possibly straight into the arms of someone completely unexpected. Jack Finnegan, anyone?
As for Ridge? He might just find himself alone, confused, and once again wondering how he managed to fumble the bag. Some men never learn…and Ridge Forrester has had plenty of chances.
