fter announcing her pregnancy with baby No. 2, Madison LeCroy received an outpouring of support from friends, family, and her Southern Charm castmates. And, yes, that included her ex-boyfriend Austen Kroll.
Madison recalled Austen’s reaction in a recent interview with E! News, just weeks after confirming she and her husband, Brett Randle, were expecting their first child together. The South Carolina mom — who has a 12-year-old son, Hudson, from a previous marriage — shared the pregnancy news on February 6 as she and her castmates filmed the Season 10 reunion.
“Everyone is just extremely happy for Brett and I and excited to play aunt and uncle,” she said about her fellow Southern Charm-ers, “because I don’t think any of them are ready to have any children at the moment.”
Madison received a "long text" from Austen after announcing her pregnancy
But how did her ex, Au
“I hung out with his girlfriend (Audrey Pratt) and him afterwards and they were so happy for me,” Madison recalled. “He sent me this long text like, ‘Look at how far we’ve come. Five years ago we’re arguing and now everybody’s growing up and starting families and talking about getting married and already getting married.’
“He made me believe that he’s super happy for me, and I believe that, so I’ll take it,” she continued. “I told him he was going to be the guncle. I don’t think he understood what I was saying, but it’s okay. My jokes sometimes don’t land, but we’ll tell him later.”
sten, take the news? Well, he made his feelings quite clear in a lengthy text.
Madison "can't wait to see" Austen and Shep interact with her baby girl
Madison, who is expecting a girl, shed more light on her pregnancy in an interview with Parents magazine, saying she was eager to see Austen and Shep Rose interact with the infant.
“It’ll be funny to see them holding the baby — you know how nervous guys get, especially with a newborn,” she said with a laugh. “I had lunch with the guys and they’re like, ‘I don’t know what to do.’ They will be a little intimidated, but I can’t wait to see it.”
