Firefighters arrived just before midnight to the home to extinguish the fire and it was confirmed that there were no occupants at the time of their arrival. There were reports of heavy thick smoke coming out of the second and third floor windows. Two firefighters did suffer burns during this event.

Reports later came out that confirmed this burnt house belongs to Philadelphia Flyers star Travis Konecny.

After nearly one hour of attempting to put out the fire, crews finally managed to get it under control, but sadly not without the two firefighters being burned. The good news is that they did not have to be rushed to the hospital.

Reports say the home's first and second floors are badly damaged, and an investigation will be underway to determine the cause.

Travis Konecny has had a fantastic career in the NHL since he was drafted 24th overall in the first-round at the 2015 NHL draft. He's played all 564 games with the Philadelphia Flyers and has scored 174 goals and 226 assists for an even 400 points.
