Domi posted on his Instagram story Saturday that he was in attendance to watch the Wolverines play the Texas Longhorns.
It’s been a busy and active summer for Toronto Maple Leafs forward Max Domi. The forward has shared plenty of his offseason, showcasing activities on his Instagram page. Most notably, Domi has been traveling, playing tennis and golf, and even practicing archery.
As NHL training camps approach and he prepares for the start of the 2024-25 season, Domi took a trip to Michigan to watch the Michigan Wolverines take on the Texas Longhorns in a college football game on Saturday. Domi shared on Instagram that he attended Michigan Stadium, also known as "The Big House," to watch the game.

The forward also tagged Columbus Blue Jackets defenseman Zach Werenski, who attended the University of Michigan from 2014-16. Although the Wolverines lost the game 31-12, the experience adds another layer to an already busy summer for the 29-year-old.
With the NHL preseason fast approaching, Domi is entering the first year of a four-year, $15 million contract he signed on the opening day of free agency. In his 2023-24 campaign, Domi tallied 47 points, scoring nine goals and adding 38 assists through 80 regular season games. In the postseason, Domi tied a team-high in points with four (1G, 3A) alongside newly appointed captain Auston Matthews and now-former Leafs forward Tyler Bertuzzi.
Domi marked the Leafs’ only considerable addition on offense this summer, with priorities on the blueline and in the net. Without any significant changes offensively, aside from new head coach Craig Berube taking the reins behind the bench, the door is open for a bigger role for the former first-round pick in 2024-25.
