The Las Vegas Raiders have one of the baddest men on the planet playing for them. Every quarterback and offensive lineman in the league fears him, and if they say they don't, well, they're lying. He's a freak and has the motor of a 2014 Honda Civic that just keeps going and never breaks down.
So, when you're bringing new defensive players in like the rookies they drafted in the 2024 NFL Draft like Decamerion Richardson, Tommy Eichenberg, Trey Taylor, and M.J. Devonshire, there is no one better to learn from how to be the best of the best than Maxx Crosby. There is no one better to watch than Crosby.
And, he has shown them during mandatory minicamp exactly why he is the best. It starts in practice - you have to practice how you play, and every rep has to be your best rep, and Crosby is showing that in practice.
Whether it be a simple sled drill like that one, where Crosby is going harder than everyone, and going absolutely all the way as hard as he can, or any other drill. Crosby knows what he is doing, and it's why he is as good as he is.
Hopefully, the rookies picked up on some habits of how to approach every day, even when you are not competing against one another in practice, but just doing drills. With Antonio Pierce letting the guys have the third day of minicamp off, the next time we will see these guys doing drills and stuff is training camp, and then the intensity is even higher.
