Warning: The following contains discussion of fictional suicide.

Renner is indeed back as the ever-resourceful Mike McLuksy, and he’ll have a trio of new castmates, as Paramount+ announces that Sopranos star Edie Falco, The Walking Dead's Lennie James and No Hard Feelings' Laura Benanti are joining Mayor of Kingstown for season 4. Details on their characters are as follows:

  • Series regular Falco plays Nina Hobbs, Anchor Bay prison's new warden.
  • James portrays Frank Moses, described as "a legendary gangster repsected in the city of Detroit, the state of Michigan, and well beyond."
  • Series regular Benanti plays Cindy Stephens, a correctional officer newly assigned to Kingstown.

Season 3 Turned Into A Bloodbath For The Cast

Clayton Cardenas was previously announced as a new Mayor of Kingstown cast addition, playing Deputy Warden Torres.

But all that was just a preview of the carnage to come, as Mayor of Kingstown season 3's ending saw the deaths piling up. First warden Kareem Moore (Michael Beach) committed suicide, a death that barely had time to register before Milo died for real this time, being shot by Iris (Emma Laird) on the orders of Konstantin (Yorik Van Wageningen). It was then a burned-out Konstantin’s turn to be shot, ending the Russians’ reign of terror in Kingstown.

Never one to rest on his laurels, Mayor of Kingstown producer Sheridan then pulled one last death out of his sleeve, as the tortured Iris took pills and passed away on the bus that was supposed to take her away from Kingstown forever (which, in a way, it did).

Our Take On Mayor Of Kingstown Season 4’s New Cast Additions

Some Heavy-Hitting Actors Will Join Renner

With Milo and Konstantin now out of the picture, Mike will also need a new bad guy to deal with. The description of James’ character, Frank Moses, suggests that he could step into the Russian villains' shoes. It’s not a given, however, that “respected gangster” Moses will turn out to be an antagonist. Rounding out the new additions is Benanti, a celebrated stage actor who’s been doing more-and-more TV and movie work.

With those three talented stars joining the cast, along with the returning Renner, Mayor of Kingstown season 4 is giving viewers plenty to look forward to when it returns to Paramount+ later in 2025.
