"Mean Girl" Energy? Dr. Simone Blasts Porsha Williams in Fiery Clapback!

The drama on “Married to Medicine” isn’t landing with a lot of fans.

The cast of “Married to Medicine” is receiving backlash on social media for the current season. Many didn’t appreciate how Phaedra Parks was treated during her second season on the show. Dr. Heavenly Kimes invited Apollo Nida to the couples’ trip. Although he originally told Heavenly his now estranged wife Sherien Copes wouldn’t be coming with him, both came to Key West, Florida. Phaedra also brought a plus one. She met Cheick at Lateasha “Sweet Tea” Lunceford‘s speed dating event. While getting to know each other, Cheick told Phaedra he knew Apollo. They figured this wouldn’t be a problem considering Apollo and Phaedra divorced several years ago. However, it was indeed a problem according to Sherien and Apollo.

Phaedra didn’t see the need to care about offending her ex and his estranged wife. She told producers that Sherien was Apollo’s mistress while she was pregnant with their youngest.

After Apollo and Sherien attempted to call out Phaedra for dating Cheick, she returned home on a private jet. Dr. Jackie Walters tried to talk Phaedra into staying. However, Phaedra was hearing none of that. She told Jackie that “some people can be played with,” but she is not one of them. Phaedra also told Jackie that the issue with the show is OGs are mean girls.

Dr. Simone Whitmore said Porsha Williams is a mean girl.

During a green screen interview, Phaedra had even more to say. According to Phaedra, new people don’t last on “Married to Medicine” because the vets treat them poorly. Interestingly enough, former “Married to Medicine” cast member Audra Curry said something similar. Last season, Quad Webb said she was being iced out of the show.  She now understands how Mariah Huq felt. And a few days ago, “Real Housewives of Potomac” star Gizelle Bryant said she was no longer enjoying the show because the way Phaedra was done was horrible.

Regardless, Jackie and the others don’t see themselves as mean girls. Dr. Simone Whitmore was asked about this when she recently appeared on “Watch What Happens Live” with Stacey Rusch.

Simone said, “I think Phaedra gave us an unnecessary and unfit hard time.”

She eventually brought up “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Porsha Williams.

“I think she was ready to be back with Porsha, ready to be back as Frick and Frack. And so just say that, but don’t leave out calling us mean girls when you’re headed to the number one mean girl,” said Simone.

Andy Cohen asked, “Are you calling Porsha the number one mean girl?”

Simone proceeded to bring Kenya Moore into the conversation as well.

“She’s mean. She’s tried to fight on social media…she snatched Kenya down. You were there.”

Andy responded, “Why am I in it?”
