Meredith Marks’ Husband Seth’s Job is Revealed! Find Out What He Does as Meredith Admits His Career Has Made it Hard for Them to “Connect,” Plus RHOSLC Midseason Trailer

Meredith Marks‘ husband, Seth Marks, was forced to make an early exit from the cast’s trip to Palm Springs on last week’s The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City due to his job. But what does he actually do?

RHOSLC's Meredith Marks' Husband Seth Marks' Job at Big Lots Confirmed! Find Out What He Does as She Admits His Career Has Made it Hard for Them to "Connect" and Says She Was "Upset and Scared" in Palm Springs

As Meredith, 52, admitted that Seth’s departure from their getaway made her “upset and scared” and explained how Seth’s career had made certain aspects of their marriage “hard,” it was revealed that he is working for Big Lots, a discount retail chain with over a thousand locations across the United States and Canada.

“[He’s] responsible for leading our strategic sourcing efforts and working closely with the Merchandising Team to procure products that offer unbeatable value to our customers,” according to Big Lots‘ website, which lists Seth as the senior vice president (SVP) of extreme value sourcing.

As RHOSLC fans may know, Seth, who has been working for Big Lots since November 2023, according to his LinkedIn page, has worked for several different companies in the past decade, including Overstock.com and Tuesday Morning.

Understandably, being constantly on the move has been challenging for Seth and his family, including his wife Meredith and their three kids, Reid Marks, 27, Brooks Marks, 25, and Chloe Marks, 23. In fact, he and Meredith have gone through a number of past separations.

Due to their strained past, Meredith was triggered by his exit from Palm Springs.

“Seth has been working remotely. He’s been traveling with me, and sometimes he needs to go somewhere and I go with him. We’re pretty much inseparable at this point. And now, suddenly, he needs to be in Columbus. I thought it was just going to be, like, every other week, and it’s slowly turning into every week, Monday through Friday, again,” Meredith explained on the November 6 episode of the RHOSLC: After Show.

Looking back at their past, Meredith said that nearly 20 years ago, when she and her kids were living in Chicago, she noticed a similar pattern with Seth.

“He was supposed to be commuting to Toronto [from] Tuesday to Thursday, and then it slowly became Monday to Friday. And then it became, ‘Well, we should probably relocate the family there,’ because it was just too hard on him going back and forth. And we did,” she shared. “And that’s not the first time we’ve done that. It snowballs into this beast where it’s like, hard for us to even connect.”

Months after Seth’s departure from their trip, Meredith confirmed that things with his job are “under control a bit more.”

“We’ve worked so hard to get to such a great place,” she revealed. “Some weeks aren’t so great because we’re both totally overscheduled in different places, but we’re both making a really big effort to try to get to the other one. And so I feel good about it today.”

“But at the time I was upset and scared,” she added.
