Hallmark Channel’s annual “Spring Into Love” programming event this year will include the Hearts Around the Table collection of four films featuring an ensemble cast — with The Young & The Restless alum Mishael Morgan (ex-Amanda) at the center of one of the movies!
Originally titled Hearts of Robin Lane, the movies were filmed last Fall in Ontario, Canada. The series stars Morgan (Shari), Ashley Newbrough (Jenna), Kathryn Davis (Kiki), Jake Epstein (Josh), and Justice James (Rory) as foster siblings, and Facts of Life‘s Mindy Cohn as matriarch Angie Hartman. As Angie gathers her “hearts” around the table for Sunday dinner each week, the family supports one another through life’s ups and downs — and in finding love. There are four movies in total, starting with Jenna’s First Love premiering on Saturday, March 22.
Each new installment that follows over the next few weeks will shift to a different sibling, with the other family members appearing in supporting roles. Morgan’s Shari is the focal point in Hearts Around the Table: Shari’s Second Act. Premiering on Saturday, March 29, at 8 p.m. ET, her character moves back home to Washington, D.C., after a breakup, looking for a fresh start. As Shari rediscovers her passion for art, inspiration hits when Shari meets Evan (played by Brendan Morgan), a handsome repairman who winds up being the owner of an art gallery. Shari’s new beginning might hold more than she ever expected.
“Some experiences stay with you forever — filming this project was one of them,” Morgan stated on Instagram. “It was raw, soulful, and filled with so much heart. Grateful for every moment and excited to share it with you all soon!”
You can watch a preview of Shari’s Second Act below but be sure to tune in for the entire Hearts Around the Table series beginning March 22!
