Oh baby! The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City alum Monica Garcia confirmed that she gave birth to her 5th baby in an Instagram post she shared on Thursday, April 17. The baby is her first child with her boyfriend, Braxton Knight.
"Getting pregnant at 40 was never the plan, but just like the last couple years of my life. Nothing has gone to plan. Dear, God [and] body... thank you," she wrote on a video in which she took fans inside the birth of her baby as well as inside her pregnancy journey. "Thank you for holding this baby safely through 9 months and a delivery."
Monica didn't share any other details about the baby. However, in her emotional post, she added that she was feeling "so very grateful."
The news comes after Monica confirmed her pregnancy back in early March after keeping her pregnancy news private until closer to her due date. "Being able to protect my peace was so important to me this pregnancy," she told People on March 4. "I'm grateful for those who have stood beside me, to the amazing fans, and loved ones I do have in my life, but that pregnancy was my lowest point with being in the public eye, and I wasn't going to put myself through that again, for the sake of the pregnancy and the baby."

The baby news came after she suffered a miscarriage in 2024 while expecting a baby with Braxton. Following her miscarriage, Monica told the publication she leaned on her faith for comfort. "God has been there for me every step of the way," she said. "I have been so blessed and been silent about it all. I just hope someone reads this and it resonates with them on some level. Reminds them that no matter what people do to you, or try to take from you, they can NEVER take what God has for you."
Who is Monica Garcia's boyfriend, Braxton Knight?
Braxton remains a bit of a mystery. Her boyfriend is a private person, and she's opted to share a few small details about Braxton. Monica appeared on The Viall Files podcast in April 2024 and confirmed she had met Braxton while filming RHOSLC Season 4.
"I've been dating him for a year, and no one even knows who he is...We actually met during filming. I met him filming," she said at the time. She's also revealed he's younger than her.

After confirming her pregnancy, Monica shed some light on this new chapter in her life. "Tiny glimpse… Content looking different these days! Moving forward all hate and negativity will be immediately blocked," she wrote on Instagram in March. "This is a space for the amazing people in my life! My incredible friends, family, amazing supporters, the best fans that have stood by me, and for people wanting or needing reassurance and proof that after your biggest mistakes in life, there is more still waiting for you on the other side of it all! You are so much more than your past!"
