Monica Garcia’s Attorneys React to Heather Gay Beauty Lab Settlement

Monica Garcia is not a happy snow bunny. During her only season on Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, one of her costars, Heather Gay, sued her. Heather owns Beauty Lab + Laser, which Monica frequented (allegedly) without her wallet. Heather might have been spitting some facts during Season 4 of RHOSLC, as a judge recently handed her a win. But, on this win, Monica thinks that the courts made a “bad decision,” so she fully intends to appeal this verdict.

A win for Heather Gay and the Beauty Lab was not the right call, according to Monica Garcia

During the Season 4 reunion, Monica semi-apologized for her antics. Yet, on her unpaid bills, which Heather stated Monica owed, Monica said nope. Instead, Monica countersued the med spa, claiming that they gave her botched nose and lip injections. Sadly for Monica, a judge just shot down her efforts, awarding Heather a settlement for $35,000, courtesy of Monica.

After this news broke, Monica took to Instagram with an interesting reaction. On her already-expired stories, reshared by Page Six, Monica expressed, “This was a shocking and bad decision.” But then, Monica brought the presidential elections into her post, which, ugh.

“I didn’t feel it appropriate to even comment on the situation yesterday[,] considering what was happening in our country … However, waking up this morning, I still don’t find it appropriate, but wow,” Monica began.

“The fact that this lawsuit was even news on a day like yesterday says a lot. I’m in shock this morning. There is so much going on around us right now. There is so much happening in our country and world that it’s astounding to me that a lawsuit is even on anyone’s radar,” Monica further stressed.

“I would say that I was surprised by the disgusting[,] hateful comments online[,] rejoicing in my ‘downfall,’ but after seeing the decisions happening around us, I’m not surprised at all,” Monica continued. She then ended with a nod to her fellow Americans, who might be “feeling fearful, devastated, shaken, anxious, or lost.” “We are not alone,” Monica declares.

Real Housewives of Salt Lake City airs every Wednesday at 9/8c on Bravo.
