NBA Legend Shaquille O'Neal Boosts Joe Burrow For NFL MVP in New Interview

Former LSU Tiger and NBA legend Shaquille O'Neal digs what he's seen from fellow LSU product Joe Burrow in the NFL. He noted Burrow is worthy of the MVP award this season in an interview with RG.

“Every time he steps on the field, and he’s playing well, he’s definitely considered the best,” O’Neal said to RG's Chrissy Froyd. “If he’s in the conversation, he has a chance to win.”

Burrow will likely finish at least fourth if not third or higher in the final MVP voting tally after posting a league-leading 43 touchdowns this past season. His total stats are a historical lock to win the award, but he didn't pair them with enough wins like other QBs with his numbers did to capture MVP status.
