The New Orleans Saints offense can take a major step forward in 2024. Chris Olave would be a massive piece to a part of that puzzle if they were to do so. New offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak is excited about Olive's potential, and the wide receiver, himself, has higher expectations in year three.
Olave has reportedly put on some weight in order to bulk up for the upcoming season. He believes it'll help him make plays after the catch more often.
Olave focusing on after the catch
"You don't want to get tackled by the first person and my mindset set is trying to take everything to the house, every touch, so I definitely got to do that more." -- Olave
There were times in 2023 where you could notice that Olave would dip out of bounds or go down from the first defender when there was a lot for open field to play with for him.
He's extremely talented with elite speed, so adding some mass could make him one of the most difficult threats in an offensive scheme that will work to get the ball in his hands as often as possible.
Olave also recently noted that he's looking to go from a good player to an elite player for the Saints.
"Just going into this offseason knowing that (the Saints) believe in me as the Receiver 1, I'm excited to get to work. But I'm just trying to take that next step forward and try to go from a good player to an elite player. So just trying to be consistent every day and put in the work to be able to be one of the top receivers in the game."

No one can doubt the hard work that Olave has put in this offseason. Hew's ready to get back on the field for the black and gold.
